Responsible for implementation and daily operation of the Project Controls systems for the $7.5 Billion, 7 year pro gram for the development of the New Port in Doha, Qatar. Developed in multiple phases, this Mega Project will comprise of three container terminals with an eventual combined annual capacity in excess of six million containers. The New Port project will also accommodate general cargo traffic, vehicle imports, livestock imports, bulk grain im ports, offshore support vessels, coast guard vessels, and a marine support unit. The project also includes the con struction of a Naval Base for the Qatar Emiri Naval Forces as well as the construction of a port as part of the Qatar Economic Zone development. Bamako Senou International Airport. Mali, Africa. Aug 2011 – Nov 2011 Short Term assignment as a member of a “Tiger Team” to provide Project Controls support to the Bamako Senou International Airport Expansion and Modernization Programme. This USD 181 million project was funded by Millen nium Challenge Corporation (MCC), a US government foreign aid agency. The expansion project included the con struction of a new 15,600m2 terminal building, expansion of the runway, and construction of new taxiways and aprons. New York, U.S.A Senior Planner/claims specialist for the supervision of Project Control services for this USD 3 Billion Project for the New York State Thruway Authority and MTA Metro North. This Project was for the study for major improvements to 30 miles of interstate highway on I 287 includ ing the Tappan Zee Toll Bridge in New York State. The study evaluated service and potential linkage to existing commuter rail lines in three counties. Scope of responsibilities included:

The terminal design included a new deep water berth, four quay cranes and a high density storage yard serviced by RMG’s. Mar 2007 – Apr 2007 NRG Astoria Power Plant. New York, U.S.A. Developed the CPM program for the NRG 400MW facility located in Astoria, New York. This USD 350 million project consisted of the installation of four (4) new General Electric LMS 100 simple cycle units with intercoolers and ancillary equipment. The work also included the transformers and interconnection to the local utility switchyard including protective relay hardware and software.

Mar 2006 London 2012 Olympics, Park wide Design Schedule. London, England Senior Planner responsible for development of the CPM program for this USD 2 billion pro ject, which involves the development of the London 2012 Olympic Park masterplan and in frastructure design for the City of London, England. Primary duties included:

Coordination with design discipline’s task leaders to gather program data.

Development of the CPM program and integration with Government agencies

(LDA/ODA) and construction/procurement schedules as well as cost control software.

Creation of the CPM design program and the integration with the construction master program.

Jan 2006 – Dec 2006 Reconstruction of the Times Square Train Station Complex. New York, U.S.A. Senior Planner/claims specialist for the supervision of construction services for Phase II of the

$60 million rehabilitation of the Times Square Station complex. Phase II of the Times Square Station Complex rehabilitation contract involved the widening of the existing 41st Street mezzanine passageway from Seventh Avenue to Broadway, demolishing the existing network of ramps at various locations from the upper mezzanine down to the lower mezzanine, in stalling two glass enclosed elevators at 41st Street mezzanine, and replacing three elevators. Other work involved the construction a new mezzanine/platform staircases, the refurbish ment of train platform areas. Scope of responsibilities included:

Work involved construction of a new interchange within the eastern spur of the New Jersey Turnpike in the area of the new Se caucus Transfer Station. The construction of a new ramp barrier toll facility will include a network of access ramps that will provide better access to local warehouses and shopping malls, as well as provide direct access to the new rail facility. Dec 2003 – Dec 2005 AirTrain Terminal at Jamaica Train Station. New York, U.S.A. This USD 325 million project was for the construction of the Jamaica JFK AirTrain Terminal and the reconstruction of Long Island Rail Road’s Jamaica Station, with a new overhead structure interconnecting the AirTrain with local bus services. The project also included the construction of a new multi story LIRR Jamaica Control Center Building. Acted on behalf of the LIRR Capital Project Management in interfacing with the Stakeholders and contractor. Responsible for the development of the preliminary CPM programs. Per formed detailed reviews of cost loaded CPM program to ensure conformance with contract documents and detailed reviews of CPM program updates. This USD 160 million project was for the replacement of the existing suspended bridge deck with an orthotropic steel deck. The work also included replacement of the bridge expansion joints, drainage improvements, and at the anchorages, replacement of the existing deck with composite units of structural steel cross beams and precast concrete. The cable work includ ed the replacement of 184 suspender ropes. Additional work included new side and median barriers, new lighting and electrical upgrades on the viaduct and suspended spans, and lead abatement on structural steel throughout the project. Scope of responsibilities included review and analysis of the contractor baseline programs and updates.
