I was the head of human resources and payroll department for the entire facility. I also handled the resident trust fund. I process all of payroll and had to monitor time daily for overtime with all the employees. I was responsible for handling all employee warnings and terminations as well as the hiring process for the facility. I was responsible for the cash box for the resident trust fund and handing out money to the residents when they needed some spending money. I also was responsible for accounts receivable and accounts payable. I would receive all the invoices for the facility and stamp and code the invoice and get them all ready to be sent to the corporate office. Once the checks were received at the facility, I would make copies of the checks and get the invoices and file them. I am very knowledgeable about all insurance claims including all major medical companies, Medicare, and Medicaid. I know how to read insurance EOBs as well as checking insurance for co-pays and deductibles. I am also a licensed notary.

I previously work for Heritage Manor of Rolling Fork where I am the Accounts Manager. I process payroll in Kronos, along with managing employees’ hours and making sure that no department goes over budget without supervision. I also manage the financial budgets for three departments and handle all the ordering for these departments. I process and file all medical documents for all the residents at the nursing home. I am also a licensed notary, which is needed for many medical documents. I am also responsible for handling all the resident trust funds along with making sure that they spend a certain amount each month. I also manage the operating accounts and move credits accordingly and bill all the responsible parties. I handle all the accounts payable and accounts receivable for the entire facility.
