Installation of 7 m tall coke oven battery (refractory, mechanical & structural).

Successfully executed, trial run, testing & commissioning of mechanical equipment’s like Gas Mixing Station, Reversing Winch machine, CO & BF gas pipeline, Valves & Governor installed in pipeline, Heat Exchanger, Nozzle deck area as per drawing and QA.

Spearheading efforts in battery process, managing proper heating regime in the batteries for smooth production, managing as a shift in charge and providing on job training.

6 months of experience in refractory bricks inspection (Silica, Fireclay, and Insulation).

Accomplishments:

Successfully achieved heating up of Battery, Commissioning and Stabilization of Battery of Coke Oven VI for smooth production & regular supply of coke to Blast Furnace.

Successfully reduced specific heat consumption of batteries from 0.70 to 0.54 G Cal/kg in Coke Oven gas heating batteries and from 0.69 to under 0.59 G Cal/kg in mixed gas heating batteries.

Maintaining accident-free operation and achieving plant safety objectives.

Rectified Exhauster trip, Power trip and Non-availability of gas problems several times.

Successfully handle the Gas change over for heating several times whenever required.

Consistently achieved production target without any breakdown and delay.
