Thermax Make (Babcock & Wilcox Ltd, Pune), Single-drum, water tube, natural circulation, travagrate, high pressure boiler, Capacity-195 TPH, Operating Pres/Temp- 126 kg/cm2 & 545 0C, and Baggasse cum coal as alternate fuel used.
SNM JAPAN Make, Steam turbine of Horizontal, Impulse, Multistage, Axial flow, Condensing cum 4th extraction with reduction Gear Down exhaust, Speed -3909RPM, Inlet Steam Pressure/Temp- 120 kg/cm2 / 540 0 C.
2) 125TPH Boiler and 28 MW Turbines:
Thermax Make ( Babcock & Wilcox Ltd, Pune.), Bi-drum, water tube, natural circulation, travagrate, high pressure boiler, Capacity-125 TPH, Operating Pres/Temp- 87 kg/cm2 & Temp-515 0C, Heating Surface area- 6750 m2 and Baggasse cum coal as alternate fuel used.
SNM JAPAN Make, Steam turbine of Horizontal, Impulse, Multistage, Axial flow, Condensing cum 4th extraction with reduction Gear Down exhaust, Speed-4909RPM, Inlet Steam Pressure/Temp- 85 kg/cm2 / 510 0C.
Operation & Maintenance: Ensuring efficient DCS operation and general maintenance of 195TPH and 125TPH Boilers, 55MW and 28MW Turbines.
CURRENT ROLE:
Technically competent Power Plant Engineer with 03 Professional experience in managing Erection, Commissioning, Operations and maintenance. Also allied activities in the power plant industry; currently spearheading as Mechanical Engineer in M/s INDIAN CANE POWER .LTD
Maintaining and monitoring the running plant Boiler & TG operating parameters without affecting the production of the plant.
Inspection and monitoring of all Boiler running auxiliaries as Feed pump, transfer pump, dozing pumps, FD, SA & ID fans and its bearings, Economizer, APH, ESP, coal handling system, Ash handling system etc.
Inspection and monitoring of all Turbine running auxiliaries as Condenser, CEP, Ejector and Gland steam condenser. Lube oil system / Oil system- Control oil pump, Main oil pump and EOP, oil ferrocare, Lube oil and control oil cooling system, generator cooler, overhauling of its internal accessories.
Cooling tower auxiliaries-MCWP, ACWP, Fans.
Man power distribution to the concerned works in general duty and Shutdown maintenance of power plant.
Preventive maintenance, Breakdown maintenance, bearing inspection, Alignment of all fans, Pumps and all types of valves. Trouble shoot and fabrication works as per the demand.
Material procurement, Official paper works, NFA Preparation, MIS preparation, Boiler Efficiency analysis and reporting to the higher authorities.

PLANT DETAIL: SAMSON'S DISTILLERIES PVT LTD DUGGAVATI – Harihara, Karnataka
1)BOILER: Thermax Water tube bidrum biomass rice husk 60%, biogas 40% with 24TPH capacity boiler at 4300C - 45 bar
TURBINE: 2MW SNM turbine
with production of 1.8 lakh litres of alcohol & 55000 litres of ethanol per day.
ACHIVEMENTS:
1. Achievement: By energy utilization measures through energy audit for the performance of Pulsating grate type boiler in Duggavathi plant analysis achieved total savings of 80 lakhs per annum.
2. Achievement: Performance of Travagrate type boiler in ICPL plant analysis is under progress.
