-Part of five-person Senior Leadership Team who opened a one-of-a-kind computer repair facility (Geek Squad City). Grew facility from 340 employees in August 2006, to over 1300 today (1020 FTEs and roughly 325 contingent workers).

-Headed up HR integration for a newly acquired parts distributor.

-During a time of increased flight routes and the acquisition of an international air-cargo company, oversaw administration during 12-month period of a five-fold increase in staffing. This was accomplished during a time of a department staff reduction of 67%. Customer Service ratings during this period, consistently ranked as superior.

-Reduced internal transfer processing time by over 50% by updating job classification database and streamlining transfer communications.

Human Resources Supervisor - Promotion (May 1999-August 2002)

-Initial responsibilities grew from support of approximately 500 employees to over 1700, due to non-business related resignations of two group Representatives. Even with a group triple the company’s desired size for a HR Rep, consistently received superior Customer Service ratings.

Recruitment Specialist (May 1993-December 1998)

UPS Center for Employment Opportunities

-Member of group which established the UPS Center for Employment Opportunities. This center successfully combined the recruiting and staffing efforts of three separate Louisville districts into one centralized location.

-HR administrator for entry-level union and non-union personnel.

-Selected as member of Family Assistance Team, whose task was to develop a contingency plan for day-to-day operations in the event that the entire facility operations were displaced.

-Assisted in recruiting/public events, interviewing, hiring and processing new hires.

Training/Operations Supervisor - Promotion (May 1989-May 1993)

Twilight Operations

-Training Supervisor was a newly created position to centralize and standardize the training of new hires, which previously was conducted by the employee’s hiring supervisor.

-Additional responsibilities included supervision of the Package Service Center and Hazardous Waste Operation.

-Supervised up to 15 labor employees.

Package Handler (October 1987-May 1989)

-Entry level position with UPS allowed for greater understanding of organization and opportunities.
