Highly skilled CNC Programmer / Machinist with over 8 years experience in close tolerance machining and complex rapid prototyping. I Specialize in programming 4 & 5 axis vertical mills as well as 4 axis horizontal machines with dual pallet systems of various makes and controls. Designed all Machinist Setup Sheets with clear set-up directions, tooling specifications, Fixture orientations, SOP's, stock description and precise loading instructions.
Oversee all initial part runs as well as supporting shop floor for any changes or cycle time improvements
Design complex workholding fixtures that ensure the easiest loading procedures possible and minimize operator error at machine
Assist and direct all machinists as needed when requested by Production manager
Interact with customers when needed for solid model issues or print errors/deviations
Take over difficult setups and run 1st parts for inspection when requested by Production Manager
Run prototype jobs with little to none scrap allotment
Worked closely with other departments to make real-time process improvements and communicate issues across departments
