Queried Microsoft SQL Server: Queried multiple tables, Sorted/Filtered data, Implemented error handling, and Improved query performance.

Administered Microsoft SQL Server: Installed/configured SQL server, backed up/restored database

Implemented a data warehouse with Microsoft SQL Server 2014: Implemented a Business Intelligence (BI) platform to support information worker analytics, created data warehouse, implemented Extraction, Transformation, and Loading (ETL), validated and cleansed data by using SQL Server Data Quality Services and SQL Server Master Data Services.

Developed Microsoft SQL Server Database: Creation of database objects including views & stored procedures, along with parameters and functions.

Mar. 2002 – May 2016 Test Engineer – Flextronics Corporation, Austin, TX

Sept. 2012 – May 2016 Test Engineer - Repair Services

Technical Scope: Sonus PCB, Networking Equipment

Set up equipment and processes for testing and debug execution.

Maintained and supported functional testing and debug analysis of field returns.

Generated testing and debug procedures for new product releases.

Participated in Defect Reduction Team (DRT) meeting with the customer. Jointly analyzed yields and defects to discover what issues were causing yield loss. Developed plan of action to address each item.

Trained operators on proper product test procedures.

Key Achievement: Reduced aged WIP (Work in Progress) and scrap by root causing field return defects and providing feedbacks to manufacturing quality and engineering teams. Manufacturing processes were then improved, resulting in a quarterly cost savings of roughly 6%, and a reduction in field returns of at least 30%.

Mar. 2002 – Sept. 2012 Functional Test Engineer

Technical Scope: PCB, Cisco Network Hardware

Supported functional testing of Cisco switches, routers, and network storage products.

Created Daily/Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly test yield reports using Microsoft Excel/Access/Macro

Analyzed test yield data to report on trends and determined root causes and corrective actions.

Provided recommendations and implemented hardware and software changes.

Managed capital assets (test equipment) log and traceability of products and documents (test procedures, Engineering Change Notices)

Key Achievements:

Improved first pass test yield for roughly Pluto and Lepus products by at least 20% by implementing FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis). The FMEA process helped to identify incompatibilities of memory components. Manufacturing and repair processes were improved to use only compatible memories. These actions resulted in an estimated savings of roughly $200K per quarter by decreasing component and Printed Circuit Assembly (PCA) scrap as well as reducing troubleshooting, repair and retest labor.

Improved OTD (On Time Delivery) by 3-4% across Pluto and Lepus products by increasing test yields, reducing defects, and adjusting test capacity.
