Work Details during Tendering

Duties & Responsibilities

Reporting to Project Manager – MEP

Assisting the Project Manager in the preparation of tender from beginning stage till the submission.

Detail study of the scope of tender, drawings, schedule equipments in excel format for lump sum projects as per principles of international codes, measurements, Project duration scheduling and submitting to Bidding Department for Bid.

Electrical load estimation, design as per international and local standards (medium and low voltage) Development of single line diagram and control schematics, electrical equipments selection sizing and protection ( Transformer, Generator, motor . Bus duct, capacitor bank, UPS etc). Cable sizing, bus bar, Earthing system according to the load analysis and routing, short circuit calculation, Voltage drop calculation, lighting and illumination design.

Building security system, Access control system, CCTV, Fire Alarm system, Lighting control system, telecommunication, data services, cable tray routing, Earth Lightining protection system.

Providing guidance to prepare Lighting layout, Power layout, Load schedule, single line diagram and related engineering calculations like panel board circuits and main distribution boards circuit breaker size selection etc.

Involved in preparation of lighting design with Architect engineer using Di-Lux software and producing lighting distribution based on Lux level scheme.

Accountable for attending meeting with team / User for resolving different technical issues at the design stage.

Evaluate engineering proposals, shop drawings and design comments for sound electrical engineering practice and conformance with established safety and design criteria and recommended approval or disapproval .

Planning and execution on the electrical side for MEP project s closely monitoring the construction activities, attending weekly meeting at site with other engineer and contractor - Maintained weekly status reports.

Review and approval of shop drawings & material submittals submitted by contractor .

Installation of all electrical works were carried out as per approved shop drawings ensuring compliance with safety requirements and as per standards .

Coordinate with mechanical,Civil, Architect engineer, discuss technical aspects of electrical system with contractor towards successful completion of projects.

LV switchgear substation, installation of transformers up to 1000KVA, termination into panel boards .

Installation of electrical installation (Internal + External ) Addressable fire alarm system, security (CCTV and access control ) Public address, Internal & External decorative light fixtures, illumination and dimming system, power receptacles, cable routing, Earthing, cable trays for tunnel, panel board and building managing system,automation system, audio video system, Interactive TV system & Video in demand with HDMI, UPS system, Lifts, ATS Panels, Computer network (fiber optic cables), Telephone network, diesel generator, lighting protection system, LV & switchgears (MDB,SMDB,MCC…,)

Coordinate with contractor for the progress work on site implementation of advanced system and material available in market as per the requirement and conduct weekly site inspection & prepare monthly progress reports.

Conduct inspections for all electrical material deliveries.

Prepare daily QA/QC report regarding inspections, material, Non conformances etc,

Assists / Coordinate the preparation of the final handing over documents such as QA/QC documents, testing, commissioning reports, finding and recommendation for energy saving schemes etc,

Maintaining records and archives to company standards.

ACADAMIC QUALIFICATION

Obtained Diploma in EEE during the Academic year 2009 with 74% of marks from Lakshmi Ammal Polytechnic College, Kovilpatti.

Passed HSC (State Board) during the Academic year 2006 with 54% of marks from Govt.Hr.Secondary School, Vanaramutti, Kovilpatti (TK). T.N.

Passed SSLC (State Board) during the Academic year 2004 with 66% of marks from Govt.Hr.Secondary School, Vanaramutti, Kovilpatti (TK). T.N.
