Cared for teenage girl’s ages 13-17 in a 24 hour locked down facility. Help educate teenage girls about life skills. Offered schooling for mental and health care. Documented client’s daily activities. Transported clients to different appointments. Prepared meals. Assist with medication. Supervised clients with suicidal tendency and self-harming acts on 24 hours basis. Monitored family visitations. Helped clients with Bathing, Washing, Anger management, coping skills, Washing hair and other services. I also work with Mental Health Adults at a Group Home. I have been working with the adults primarily now for the last 6 years. The adults have the same care and needs but it is not a lock facility the Henry St location is a 90day up to a year stay. Whereas the Heights it’s their homes until the client choose to leave.

Work with adults with physical disabilities along with mental health issues. I work with clients in their homes. Redirect clients from self-harming acts along with redirecting inappropriate behavior to others and self. Pass daily medications to each client if needed. Part of my daily duties is to help clients with personal hygiene, transported clients to different appointments and for recreational purposes by scheduling outside activities. I also prepared meals if needed. I in the Day Service program were I’m a supervisor of about 30-45 clients. My duties in this position is to transport in a 8 passenger 2 wheelchair van the clients from home to day service take them on field trips and retuned clients back home. I teach them life skills such as how to count money how to interview for a job. I also teach about personal hygiene and personal space just to give a brief synopsis. Also we do care tracker this is a daily report of each client’s participation along with the mileage used for transporting clients. .
