Manage staff of more than 65. Supervise personnel office and personnel functions. Advise commanders and soldiers on personnel readiness and set forth all duty assignments. As G1 SGM, serve as key advisor and consultant to Commander and Deputy Commander on policy matters related to programs and specific mission requirements; serve as advisor to senior executives on matters of organizational capabilities.
Maintain $650,000 worth of equipment in top condition. Continue development of division’s Enlisted Promotion System (EPS) and mentor non-commissioned Officers on EPS procedures. Participate in planning and deployment of training exercises and ensure readiness for all training events and missions.
