As part of migrating Covidien to Medtronic we need to ETL data from Covidien different system to Medtronic SAP system.

Responsibilities:

Pl/Sql Developer

CI TO POMS

Customer Interface (CI) is an intermediary system to process orders placed from different order entry channels (like Orderpro, oneplus, AOE etc.) to manufacturing system. Previously, all the orders were routed to Manufacturing Order Management System (MOMS) which involves lot of human intervention. Deluxe has set up a new manufacturing system called Production Order Management System (POMS) and has direct all orders to this system. This reduces human effort many folds and increases the revenue. This project deals with change of order manufacturing and routing process from MOMS to POMS.

Responsibilities

•Analysis of requirements from root as it was a big project requiring entire transfer of the systems.

•Organized sessions and discussions with clients and submitted work reports with detailed information that impressed clients very much and also helped in smooth phase wise deliveries.

•Modified the C programs and PL/SQL files to route the orders to different manufacturing system (POMS) which was a very hard task.

•Experience in supporting SSRS reports and verifying report data against database.

•Made use of Sub-Query Factoring (WITH clause) to make complex SQL statements simple and make them more efficient

•Using set operators in PL/SQL like Union, Union all, Intersect and Minus

•Developed the changes across the system to Route the orders from MOMS to POMS.

•Moved the order entry system from MOMS to POMS which reduced lot of manual work that in turn increased the revenue and fetched huge profits.

•CI (Customer Interface) TO CMP is a huge project because MOMS produces 3/4th of orders before, and my team has done changes to route those orders through automated CMP process.

•PowerBuilder was used to design the customer interface that processes orders from many entry channels.

•Modified c programs, shell scripts and PL/SQL procedures to meet the new automated version from manual version which was a great challenge and I was able to meet the challenge very successfully and received many applauds for leading the team.

•Successfully led the team of 8 members throughout the project and guided and helped them in tough times and achieved a milestone with individual focus and team effort.
