Position: Court appointed investigator, assisting counsel with criminal defense preparation.

Duties: After returning to central Florida with nearly thirty-years experience as a former assistant state attorney, assistant general counsel, assistant public defender, and in private practice, I accepted a temporary position as a court appointed licensed investigator, through the Judicial Administrative Commission, for the purpose of investigating various complex criminal matters for defense firms.

Routinely managed the highest case loads, and conducted the most jury trials, with a 92% conviction rate. Being situated in a very rural area, that included seven counties, I often acted as pro hoc legal adviser to local law enforcement, often from my kitchen table late at night. I assisted with civil forfeiture matters and animal safety. I regularly drafted warrants, motions, collateral attack responses, etc. Represented office at grand jury and civil commitment (Baker, Ryce, etc.) proceedings. All performance evaluations at, or near, 100%. Awarded "Assistant State Attorney of the Year."
