Good day:
I would like to apply for the Quality Manager position with your client. I feel that I am qualified for this position and would like to submit my resume for consideration. If I may, I would like to highlight some of my professional experiences.
I have over twenty five years of quality manufacturing experience in a variety of environments including Plastics( Extrusion, Injection and Blow), Metal Fabrication, Absorbent Products, and Electronics and Computer Assembly.
In past and present employment, I have set up Quality Departments/Materials Testing labs. I have written and implemented software for quality, engineering and production departments.
I have done training in Quality Methods, Lean/6 Sigma, SPC, Computer Literacy and Blueprint Reading.
I have done extensive work with SPC, APQP, PPAP and FEMA processes, process/quality improvement teams, nonconforming conditions, corrective actions, and new process/product development and documentation.
I have implemented and maintained Certified Quality Management Systems to ISO9000, TS16949, AS9000, and ISO13485.
I performed Project Manager Duties including several new process and product development projects for several domestic and international customers in the Medical, Electronic, Bio Science and Agriculture Industries
In 1990, I graduated with academic honors with an Associates Degree in Industrial Engineering from Chippewa Valley Technical College.
I am a very people orientated person. I have excellent problem solving skills. I enjoy finding the root cause of manufacturing problems by understanding the process from evaluation of the suppliers, through the processing of the materials and the ultimate delivery to the customer. This is achieved by effective communications with the suppliers, production team and customers.
I very much enjoy interacting with customers, both domestic and international, and understanding their needs, expectations and concerns when addressing issues.
Thank you for reviewing my resume. I am looking forward to an interview at your convenience.
I may be reached at 715-***-**** or ****.****@*****.***
