PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Quality Management Systems:

Quality Management Systems (QMS) developed to the guidelines of ISO 9001/AS9100B, C, and D

Implemented Corrective/Preventative Action, Training, Supplier Quality Surveys, Internal Audit and Calibration systems.

Developed and mentored with Management to lead the Material Review Board (MRB) with Production Management and applicable Manufacturing employees to determine root cause and resolves to meet standard requirements.

Coordinated KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) of on-time delivery, customer satisfaction and cost of quality on a monthly basis to be presented to upper management.

Management Review PowerPoint developed for meetings with mid/executive level management to analyze all quality data including On-Time Delivery, PPM, sales, profit/loss and cost of poor quality.

Mentored with Internal Auditors and conducted process audits and oversaw all internal quality audits; for all raised corrective actions during audits, performed root cause analysis and corrected the issues.

Corrective and Preventative Action Management

Customer & Supplier Relations:

Create Supplier Quality Surveys to be sent out annually, upon return analyzed their results; if criteria were met, suppliers would be added the approved supplier’s list. If criteria were not met, mentored customer to perform an audit at supplier’s locations.

Mentored with employees regarding suppliers and end users to convey non-compliance issues, resolve manufacturing concerns and inform them of delayed shipments and praise for good service.

Implementation of Processing Systems:

Implemented 11 Nadcap (Aerospace) Chemical Processing Systems per (AC7108) checklist requirements. These processing systems require extensive testing criteria to ensure compliance with the applicable quality standard parts were processed too.

Training & Employee Development:

Trained and mentored Quality Inspectors on the job skills, usage of Corrective Action System, Calibration techniques and Internal Audit processes.

Communicated updated or newly developed Tier 3 Work Instructions (WI) to all floor level employees.

Trained and mentored all Managers company-wide on new or updated Tier 1 Quality Manual (QM) & Tier 2 Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).

Audit Management:

Acted as Management Representative for all internal and external customer/third party audits.

Championed through 7 ISO 9001:2008 / AS9100B Quality Management System audits.

Championed through 10 ISO 9001:2008 /AS9100C Quality Management System audits.

Championed through 10 process audits to the requirements of Nadcap AC 7108–Chemical Processing with progressively fewer findings, last audit 0 findings.

Championed through 2 ISO 9001:2008/14001 Quality/Environmental Management System audits.

Maintain the requirements to ISO9001:2008/AS9100C. Plant support as needed for Aerospace and Defense programs, including developing strategies for understanding and meeting Aerospace and Defense needs on an ongoing basis. Responsible for the development to meet and exceed the new requirements of ISO9001:2015/AS91ooD Quality Management Systems.

Lake Air Companies, Coon Rapids, MN March 2013 – April 2014

Responsible for combining three Quality Management Systems documents into one ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System. Combined existing and newly developed Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions and Forms into one Quality Management System.

Bodycote Thermal Processing, Eden Prairie, MN 2012 - 2013

Responsible for total re-development of the ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management Systems. Updated Quality Manual, Standard Operating Procedures and many new Work Instructions and Forms. Also responsible for the ISO14001 Environmental Management Systems. Managing Quality Assurance Department including 4 personnel (3) inspectors and (1) Metallurgist.

Co-operative Plating Company, St. Paul, MN 2011 – 2012

Responsible for updating existing AS9100B to the newly revised AS9100C Quality Management System and (7) Nadcap (Aerospace) chemical processing systems for the company.

Spec Plating Company, Fridley, MN 1998 – 2010

Responsible for new development and execution of ISO 9001:2008/AS9100B Quality Management System and setting up (11) Nadcap (Aerospace) chemical processing systems. Managing Quality Assurance Department, including 15 personnel (14) Inspectors and (1) Quality Engineer.
