PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Summary

Since 2007, Lyn assisted the President of Florida Black Business Corporation with the administration of over 2.3M in loan funds for the statewide minority business lending program. In this position, Lyn incorporated her marketing and promotional experience and network of contacts to successfully bring the organization’s loan portfolio from 50% reduction of bad debt to a level of 6%. By successfully doing so, in 2014, the organization was awarded an additional 600k from the DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITY to market and encourage entrepreneurship in Florida.

REGULAR AND ADMISTRATIVE DUTIES ENTAILS:

•Control of entire accounting and finance function, using a hands-on approach, including a business loan portfolio.

• Assist with management of the organization’s Treasury function to maximize investment returns while providing the necessary liquidity via interest bearing accounts.

• Orchestrated the conversion of customers to ACH payment system from a manual system

• Effectively manage Accounts Receivable Collections

• Implementation of cost savings through consolidation of duties, automation of tasks and strict adherence to budget.
