Corporate Quality Engineer

Hired as the first Corporate Quality Engineer for Vermeer, with the primary responsibility of implementing new facility-wide Quality and Lean Six Sigma initiatives.

Revamped the fastener torque program, implemented an FMEA problem-solving structure, served on a Cylinder Reverse-Engineering Team and started a pilot program involving the new Quality Team (Plants 6 & 7).

Assisted with the transition to an APQP system for Procurement, and was on the planning team for corporate implementation of that system.
