Responsible for the Global Stamping Commodity. Responsibilities include monitoring the quality levels of the suppliers across all the Emerson Climate Technologies manufacturing facilities and assisting the plants with suppliers issues. Reviewing PPAP documentation (Control Plans, FMEA, Dimensional studies, Cpk on critical features, etc). Responsibilities also include working with engineering and suppliers in the development of new stamping designs and implementation into production. Proficient with Microsoft Office, Project and MiniTab.
Procurement Engineer,
Managed the procurement of tooling and gauging for the five major stampings for Quest, Quantum, Star, Digital and Summit in the US, Thailand, China and Mexico. This included leading the project team in the qualification of tooling, design, purchase gauging and production implementation.
Strategic Program Manager,
Purchase compressor components (metal and grey iron castings, stampings, plastics, rubber etc.) for high volume plants. Ensure smooth operations of parts flow from the suppliers to the plant. Coordinated procurement activities with the cost reduction team for the Quantum compressor which resulted in significant saving. Supplier Quality Engineer,
Provided assistance to suppliers to help lead them achieve acceptable quality level for Emerson Climate Technologies. This included visiting the suppliers, reviewing their process and working as a team to resolve any issues. Tracked commodities to assure that long term corrective action was effective.
Quality Engineer,
Responsible for the procurement of gauging for both the Shelby and Rushville plants. Worked with AME to implement the 4D-6D line into Shelby that resulted in the purchase of a CMM integrated into the production line. Assisted both Shelby and Rushville during production as well as purchased and qualified gaging for new programs.

Design Engineer, Design underground coal mining equipment for use in the United States as well as offshore. This included the design of major frame components, transmissions and assembly details. Interfaced with manufacturing and engineering to trouble shoot designs in the shop and to correct drawings.
