Interests and activities
I have always enjoyed writing and learning, but I also enjoy woodworking, gardening, art, and designing things, I often take informal courses to continue learning new things
Explanation of extended absence from the work force
I have a background in electronics and medical fields. I have experience in several areas of education and tutoring. I took a voluntary absence from the work force, and formal studies, to raise a family. During my absence from employment I homeschooled from K-12th grade with full curriculum planning and occasionally developing courses to suit individual interests for electives. I have also written a book, written and produced a children’s Christmas program, put together curriculum for Sunday school as director of education and taught Jr High/High School Sunday School.
I enjoy working with people and have continued informal education through various means.
