Required to research data in DMLSS for customer supply rooms. Responsible for re-supplying Omni-Cell Point of Use (POU) cabinets utilizing delivery lists generated from the DMLLS. Occasionally required to manually inventory certain supply areas or areas where the automated POU system is not working. The inventory accounts for the daily record of supplies used by each ward or clinic for cost accounting purposes. Completed additional supply records manually as necessary to assist the wards or clinics and supervisor in accounting or charging for items issued out the POU system. Independently monitored the par-levels of automated supply stations for any difference between programmed requirements and actual usage and adjusts levels accordingly. Major differences are reported to the ward or clinic and the supervisor. Filled staff and customer emergency one-time issues. Care will taken to ensure the stock is categorized and placed on the shelves according to customer desires, but at the same time organizing so that there will not be a mix of expiration dates by placing new product behind old.

Screened supplies for expiration date and removes expired items from patient care areas. Ensured that items such as hypodermic needles and syringes are secured in accordance with storage procedures. Assisted in periodic inventory of stock on hand by counting items and verifying the quantity of items in storage match the on-hand register. Recorded any differences.
