DAC(Dynamic Authorization Control) is a key application within the Credit Authorization System(CAS), allows business partners to implement real-time Authorization rules. It provides ability to combine multiple Authorization variables in order to prevent fraudulent transactions from being approved. DAC provides the ability to implement various types of business rules.

The Financial Conduct Authority, UK Government (FCA) Feb’14– Jun’16

The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) is a financial regulatory body in the United Kingdom. The FCA regulates financial firms providing services to consumers and maintains the integrity of the UK’s financial markets. It focuses on the regulation of conduct by both retail and wholesale financial services firms. The project focuses on developing a new INTACT framework to implement the regulatory rules developed by Financial Conduct Authority. The Cloud based application is built on Salesforce platform and enables firms performing credit transactions to apply to be authorized at FCA.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Involved with the clients in test data requirements gathering for UAT testing.

Preparing the test data for UAT& SIT.

Co-coordinating with the client during UAT if they face any technical issues and helping the client to resolve it.

AMEX RegO Jul’13– Jan’14

RegO Enhance projects aims to introduce multiple new records to the existing RegO application, which helps American Express to be compliant with Regulation O .Regulation O governs any extension of credit by a member bank to an executive officer, director, or principal shareholder of that bank, of a bank holding company of which the member bank is a subsidiary of that bank holding company. In other words, Regulation O has been put in place to ensure that the executive members (insiders) of a bank are not given preferential treatment over the general public with respect to rates of interest on loans borrowed etc.Currently the entire RegO process and the related reporting is owned and supported by the US Banking Compliance team. The effort is very manually intensive and time consuming. Also, given the regulatory importance and the amount of PII data involved, the banks can be subjected to multi-million dollar fines in case something goes wrong in the reporting process.

AMEX Service Establishment Data Quality(AMEX SEDQ) Nov’10 – June’13

Service Establishment Data Quality (SEDQ) deals with Amex credit card transaction details used for three industries i.e.- Airlines, Car rental and Hotels. When transactions are made in these industries using Amex credit card, a transaction no called ‘SE’ is generated and the address of the industry gets loaded into our data base GDR.(Global Data Repository). SEDQ is a merchant chaining process; which involves identifying the actual properties to which a SE belongs. This is done over an internet search to locate the website of the actual property. The name and address along with ZIP in the website and our database (GDR - Global Data Repository) are verified side by side and if any mismatch is found, our database should be updated accordingly.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Extract weekly SEDQ reports for Air, Auto & Lodging Industry.

Identifying the actual properties to which a SE belongs.

Locate the address of the SE’s for Hotel, Airlines or Auto Industry with their websites by an internet search.

Verifying the name and address in the website and our database (GDR - Global Data Repository).

Updating our database if any mismatch is found.

If the merchant is unchained, then the brand and chain of the SE should be identified and the SE should be added to them.

Working on under SE’s according to the brand and move or add them to their respective brand.

Proficient in handling all the exception chained reports (Air, Auto & Lodging).

Completing the reports and updating them in database.

Sending the completed weekly reports to the client within the stipulated time.
