ACADEMIC HISTORY

Diploma in General Agriculture from Kinneret College in Israel (2015-2016).

Diploma in Food Nutrition and Livelihood security from Natural Resources College (2013-2015).

Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) 2012.

ACHIEVEMENTS

Successfully trained 600 people on good hygiene and sanitation at Dedza CADECOM in the Food Security project in Dedza.

Successfully distributed 1,000 livestock’s and seeds to vulnerable population at Dedza CADCOM in the Food Security program in Dedza.

Successfully completed a survey (special project) at Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources (LUANAR) in the surrounding communities which aimed at determining and evaluating the food intakes, nutrition and health status of people around the community.

WORK EXPERIENCE

Farm Assistant- Itsik Yehuda Farm, Yardena, Israel: From: (31/08/2015 to01/09/ 2016)

Itsik Yehuda Farm is a family farm which is named after his family; it’s one of the big and leading farms in exporting of vegetables and fruits in Israel. Its mission is to provide vegetables and fruits at the right time, place and amount to its customers.

Duties:

Responsible for Greenhouse maintenances, setting up irrigation systems, growing & harvesting crops ( Tomato and cucumber), Tomato & Cucumber packaging, Flushing irrigation systems, Planting seedlings and Apples harvesting & pruning .

Facilitator -Internship at Dedza Catholic Development Community of Malawi (CADECOM) From: (06 January to 02 April 2015)

CADECOM it’s a catholic development organization whose mission is “to create awareness and empower disadvantaged men, women and the youth to undertake development which is integral, gender and environmentally sensitive, sustainable and which promotes justice, human dignity, and self-reliance with active participation of the people themselves so that they take up the responsibility of their own destiny.

Duties:

Responsible for Planning and implementation of integrated development programs that are responsive to the needs of men, women & the youth, Training people on good nutrition, hygiene & sanitation, Monitoring & evaluation of food security project which helped over 1000 vulnerable households, and Conducting training needs assessment for community.
