RELEVANT JOB DUTIES
General assistance with public, customers, and/or employees in person, by telephone and/or E-mail answer inquiries related to the department service, programs, and records; receives complaints and attempts to resolve them; explains rules, policies, and procedures; researches question, when appropriate, to provide accurate information. Resolves issues and/pr directs customers to the appropriate departments for resolution.
Researches, assembles, tabulate information as may be necessary to use in investigations, seizures in various cases.
Monitors the progress by responding to the scene of a crime/incident or an accident, interviewing victims writing crime and police reports. Monitoring and suspicious activity. Coordination vehicular traffic. Responding to citizen’s and visitor’s questions.
Independent judgment answers emergency call regarding law enforcement matters, city state and federal laws in ordinances or requests assistance as required. Coordinates various communications functions, including research, intelligence information gathering, data gathering, variation, and strategic contact with other law enforcement agencies, in support of agency objectives and programs. Monitors auditory and visual alarm devices and intercoms to control access to and ensure the security of contraband, evidence, and property.
Provides Guidance in enforcing rules, regulating maintaining law and order, and at the safe time ensuring my ability to protect civilian life and property.
Coordinating and reviewing work requests for tasks assigned to contract staff.
