Business Analyst- Information Technology

Created a Business Requirements Document (BRD) for a SaaS Cost Management application. This application will manage costs, funding and track performance against the multi billion dollar budget to build the first high speed rail system in the United States. Created a Fit Gap Analysis to valid requirements vs. solution. Lastly, mapped and defined all roles and responsibility assignments required to support the new business processes and tools for cost management.

Supported a medium size Agile project to Program Control’s business processes including Cost Management, Forecasting, Estimating, and Scheduling for the California High Speed Rail project.

oEngaged with process owners to elicit information required to document and create business process and data flows and supporting narratives.

Technical Project Manager- Software and Solutions Group 2015 -2016

Developed and deployed a global marketplace site to create and foster a software developer community. The site included custom access and single-sign-on, user profile management and on-boarding, software project showcasing and curated streaming as well as dynamic event calendars, social media integration and SPAM screening.

oDrafted and negotiated vendor $100K contract. Managed and facilitated requirements elicitation and design work sessions. Defined and implemented team operating processes for wireframe development, reviews and approvals, content creation and graphic selection, branding compliance, social media APIs, security, and user support protocol.

Created a web-based data collection application to capture software innovator and black belt developer’s professional profiles and their respective industry training activities. Identified and adopted a new data architecture and infrastructure to enable reporting, and program dashboards using DOMO(SaaS), Microsoft Power BI, SSRS and Sales Force Wave Analytics Cloud. The dashboards were used to provide status and track performance to the Developer Relations Program. Sr. Project Manager & Business Analyst – Information Technology 2008 - 2014

Coordinated all project activities, facilitated cross-organization and cross-geography team meetings and training. Acted as liaison between the business and technical groups to develop Customer Service, Marketing and Supply Chain Management business processes and applications using LEAN principles.

Key project scope of work included designing user interfaces within User Experience (UX) guidelines, conducting “As-Is” and “To-Be” using Business Workflow and Data Modeling tools and standards (BPMN). Responsible for soliciting and capturing detailed user requirements and user stories, creating and executing testing, training, communication and stabilization plans. o(10/2012-04/14): Led development team as the Scrum Master and Lead System Analyst to enable Business Intelligence solutions for Supply Chain Event Management alerts and the entire suite of Supply Chain Metrics using KLIPFOLIO, Micro Strategy, SharePoint Microsoft BI and SAP BOBJ. This data enabled decision making resulting in a savings in excess of $300M of inventory worldwide.

o(01/2012-07/2013): As the Transition Change Manager, successfully conducted a comprehensive and complex Impact Analysis to understand all tool, data and business process changes required to move an entire Division Planning organization from legacy Supply Planning tools and business processes to the enterprise Supply Planning tools and business processes resulting in >$5M in cost savings.

o(03/2011-10/2012): Using the Agile methodology, managed efforts to collect, analyze and design new capability in SAP SCM to support a new material forecasting methodology and data set. The new capability enabled significant global market expansion of the next generation product line.

o(01/2011-12/2011): Managed a team of Training Analysts and technical content experts to develop a new Content Management System for critical on-line help content for greater than 27 Teradata MDM UIs and over 500 end users worldwide.

o(01/2010-02/2011): Developed and delivered training and education to all global partners on the full suite of Supply Network Quality metrics. Outlined fallout definitions and business processes to analyze, validate and implement issue resolution for over 200 users in the factory, materials planning and supply planning network.

o(01/2008-12/2009): Defined, developed and implemented over 18 data quality metrics to ensure accurate and complete data feeds to Master Production Schedule (MPS) processes. Also led design, development and deployment of data fallout reports and data quality alerts in Micro strategy to all factories and planning groups. The new metrics contributed to attaining a 95% data accuracy goal.

Project Manager & Business Analyst – Planning & Logistics 2005 - 2008

Developed and executed a comprehensive training and education strategy to transition over 300 users worldwide to a new set of Supply Demand Alignment business processes and enterprise toolsets. Managed this significant paradigm shift across all internal and sub-contractor factories, all division planning groups and materials procurement organizations.

Developed and deployed business processes and user applications to manage over $300M in inventory annually with 5 major external manufacturing sub-contractors at 11 sites in the Far East.
