Corrected and updated P&ID’s to reflect the new scope of the unit. Analyzed existing PDA unit and optimized engineering and instrument selection design conditions to increase propane production. Duties also included control valve sizing.

As of March, 2003, seconded to Multiphase Power and Processing Technologies, LLC (MppT), a joint venture with Dresser-Rand and Aker Kvaerner, performing the following:
Project Manager
Set-up, installed, and operated a small 1000 BPD 3-phase rotary separator turbine test skid, complete with instruments, valves, vessels and data logging software, for heavy crude testing, and methanol contaminated brine produced water treating.
Supervised maintenance crew of Marathon Offshore platform for repair and troubleshooting of novel three-phase separation equipment.
Application/Process Engineering
Entailed development, testing, modifications and maintenance of novel compact oil and gas centrifugal separation equipment on offshore platforms
IRIS – inline rotary gas scrubber: Used various process conditions to size and recommend IRIS solutions, start-up and commission IRIS units
3-Phase rotary separator turbine: Capacity 8000BFPD / 8 MMscfd performed maintenance, modifications to internal weir designs along with troubleshooting the PLC ladder “rung” logic. Performed OiW and WiO analysis with various infrared analyzers (Infracal and Durtech). Trained platform personnel in startup and operating procedures for 3-Phase rotary separator turbine.
