Work as a Computer Support Technician in the IT department supporting local tech employees.

Setup and configured Apple iPads in the IT lab. Attached the iPads to the network, installed all applications needed by students and teachers. Tested all 2,000 iPads made sure they all worked correctly.

Setup and configured Apple Books (Laptops) in the IT lab. Attached the books to the network, imaged install all applications needed by students and teachers. Tested all 500 books made sure they all worked correctly.

Helpdesk Analyst – Contract

Worked as member of the Helpdesk Analyst group in the Information Systems department. My work was to support all of Loma Linda’s hospitals in Loma Linda as well as their hospital in Murrieta, Ca. I also supported all of Loma Linda’s clinics throughout the Inland Empire. I worked with internal and VPN remote users.

As a first line support person and troubleshooter worked on user’s problems and issues with user’s computer software and hardware.

Worked with user’s printers, fax machines, copiers, by remoting into computers and printers, checking the problem and fixing the problem or assigning the problem to other IT groups.

Service Now was our ticketing system I used on a daily basis, worked with SLAs for these tickets. I troubleshooted and fixed Windows 7&8 platforms, Windows Internet & intranet, Outlook, Microsoft Office suites, Adobe Reader, Adobe Acrobat. Used tools like Windows Active Directory for user accounts issues, Remote Assistance, Helpdesk lookup, Citrix as well as ping, ipconfig, and other Windows commands.

Troubleshooted and fixed a large number of hospital applications, systems issues and others applications such as Epic, Cerner, My Cart, Health-Bio, Midas Care & Management, Trace, On-Track, Performance Manager, People Soft/People Portal, API and many others. If the applications required in depth troubleshooting I assigned a ticket to a specialist for those applications.
