Basic Function:

Under moderate supervision, patrols and guards Metro buildings and property, monitors security situational awareness camera systems and alarm systems for behavioral threats, and performs fare inspection duties as required.

Examples of Duties

Patrols buildings and grounds at regularly scheduled intervals

Checks doors and windows and secures all accesses to Metro property

Checks boilers, plumbing, electrical equipment, and ventilation to assure proper functioning

Screens entry to Metro property and admits only authorized personnel and vehicles

Directs visitors to desired Metro locations
