Barnes-Jewish Hospital

St. Peters, Mo

Food Service Worker I Position Opening

I left Monsanto in 2016 and would like to work at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Peters, Mo.

I am reliable, friendly, quick learn, strong in multi-tasking, detailed oriented, and reliable. I have no experience as being food service worker. However, I have cooked most of my life for my family. I have setup many conferences with food, utensils and then sanitizing the room after the conference was over. I always made sure that I provided the correct diet for meals whether for a Monsanto worker or an outside visitor.

I have always kept everything clean (whether at work or at home). I am very professional and friendly at the same time. I believe I could be a great asset in this position for Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Peters, MO.

If you need references, I will forward to you.

Regards,

Christine Terbrock

Monsanto: 2007-2015 – retired in 11/2015 (laying off in my department – Regulatory so I decided to retire) but not from working.

1. Bid Administrator/Administrative Assistant Lead: Reported to Director of Laboratory Studies

Accomplishments:

Supported Director and team of approximately 15 people.

Travel (international and domestic) VISA’s for countries where needed.

Submitted travel expenses along with other receipts – can be complicated when using overseas receipts.

Contracts/bids - created contracts, per the vendor and Monsanto terms after they were agreed upon in discussions. My responsibility was to be the liaison between the vendor and Monsanto to get the proper signatures by the vendor and to be returned to Monsanto. Once received, created a PO in SAP; when invoices came in for payment, ensured they were paid according to signed contract through Work Flow. I created the PO so it could be paid according to their requests. When study was completed, study director would give me the documentation which I would put in Share Point. We keep these for approximately 50 years.

Kept inventory for labs and office supplies. Always had on hand what was needed by the study directors.

Any project that someone would need my assistance with; I would support them.

Made coffee and kept the team area clean.

Quick learn in systems: SAP (create PO’s in this system), Work Flow (paid invoices), MS Office (understand excel but not a strong user since I didn’t have to use it often but can create simple spreadsheets), Concur – expense reports and travel arrangements (worked with G-3 in getting VISA’s for international countries).
