Personally, I consider myself to be extremely analytical, I'm always looking ahead to see what needs to be done next, or just to see if I can find a way to save time, while improving the quality of my work. Time IS money! When it comes down to it, I have no problem starting at an Entry level job and working my way to the top. I am an extremely fast learner and honestly am just looking for a chance to prove myself while promoting your business. When it comes to my future, I plan on going to college and taking all my basics to get them out of the way. That way I can get my Major in Business and Management, along with taking any other core subjects I see necessary to help me achieve my goal to start my own Leather working Business on the side for when I retire. I recently saved up enough to work on my Welding Certification, and am looking to turn it into a degree as soon as I can afford the classes. Lately I've been studying Psychology/Sociology, Graphic/Game Design(C#) along with Quantum Physics on my free time when I'm at home and need something to read up on. When it comes down to it I live for information because, what else is there? Willing to relocate: Anywhere

WORK EXPERIENCE

Leatherwork/Sales

Sherwood Forest, Renaissance Festival - Austin, TX - February 2016 to March 2016 When it gets down to it, leather working has always been my passion. It allows me to stimulate my creativity as well as blow customers away with a personally designed product that was fully customizable to meet their needs. We crafted anything our customers wanted, from armour, bags, sheaths, corsets, coats, cuffs, and more. I happened to be the only sales associate that doubled as a Leatherwork other than the owner providing me the opportunity to work right in front of an audience. Sales

Texas Renaissance Festival - Todd Mission, TX - October 2015 to December 2015 This is just a passion of mine. I go in prior to the seasons start to help vendors set up their booths and find a job working for one. This year my main goal was to get my name out there, as well as all the Leather working tips and connections I could possibly get. I found a job unrelated to Leather working where I was to create a persona and maintain an accent to create an atmosphere where the "Patrons" would have a great time and want to return. All the while selling the "Patrons" any and everything I possibly could. Whether that be a rock, a stick or the idea of throwing a pie at one of their friends. I created games, jokes and skits off the top of my head, Taught magic tricks, but mostly made people smile. Then when everyone went home at the end of the season, I stuck around and helped tear down booths again. Glass Technician

Apple Glass - Houston, TX - April 2015 to October 2015 My job consisted of,maintaining a company vehicle, and my appearance so I could drive to and from job sites. Every vehicle was different due to it's Year/Make/Model of the vehicle and whether it was a crack, or a minor chip that needed to be fixed. Depending on what I concluded, I was to either replace the windshield or do a rock chip repair. On slow days, I would stay in the shop and cut/bevel flat glass that we used on commercial jobs. Cabinet Installer

Southwest Installers - Houston, TX - April 2014 to March 2015 Simply put, I would read blueprints to determine which cabinets go where. Then position them in the corresponding rooms, unpackage and install. Other duties included, Maintaining tools, Loading and unloading the truck, as well as Picking up any additional material that may be needed from the Manufacturers warehouse. Receiver

Cavender's Boot City - Houston, TX - August 2013 to January 2014 Working at Cavender's was a little different than a normal receiving job since it was like a family business but it still had its similarities. I had a set schedule to come in every morning except Sunday, Then work as long as I could keep myself busy. In the mornings, I'd walk the lot and clean it before we opened. Then stock all the bathrooms, Sort security tags, needles, size tags, hangers and anything else that may have been in the bins. After everything was separated the truck would usually arrive. When the truck came, we didn't have much room in the store so we would have to have the back room completely clean so we could unload each box and separate into stacks. There wasn't really a method in this system, we basically just knew what was in the boxes by looking at the shape of the box and the tape used to package it. As crazy as it sounds, it worked. Anyways, We would start unpacking and putting security tags on all the merchandise that was actually being sold first. Like I said though, the store didn't have room and we got a couple trucks every day, we had to unpack and process everything and make room. That way, we wouldn't put ourselves in a bad position for the next day. Flow Team Member

Target - Magnolia, TX - October 2012 to February 2013 We would unload the trucks in receiving, sorting all the "Push" and "Backstock" onto multiple pallets depending on where they go in the store. The take all the "Push" and stock it out in the store. Some days I would stay in the back and help put all the "Backstock" in the designated spot on the shelves in the back room. After I finished up whichever I was doing, I would go to the Freezer and do the same with the cold foods. Making sure everything hadn't expired along with using the First in First out method. Anytime I was on the floor, I was basically a sales person as well. At any time a customer could approach me and ask me anything. I'd have to be ready. We worked as a team, and would always meet in the mornings and discuss our goals and what needed to be improved on.

Entry Level Machinist

Canyon Mesquite - Houston, TX - August 2012 to October 2012 Hired on as a Temp at Canyon Mesquite, My job was to make wood flooring by feeding planks (that we had previously made at the on-site sawmill) through multiple machines. Lifting wood constantly all day, moving packing ect. As well as Filling in the holes in some of the flooring with Epoxy then a finish. We were a small company that worked with private brokers that only dealt with high end customers. Our product was to be done with perfection in each and every step of production. Deliver Expert

Dominoes - Magnolia, TX - April 2012 to July 2012

I was technically called a driver, but I cross trained as an Insider and also made pizzas, wings and all the other products we sold as well as delivered them to our customers in a quick safe and efficient manner. The whole time I would maintain a professional appearance and attitude, for I was seen as the Ambassador of our company.

Crew Trainer

McDonalds - Magnolia, TX - February 2012 to April 2012 My job was to be the "Role Model" of the store. I was to do everything with the best quality work I could possibly do. Also, I was to train the new "Crew Members" of the store on every position in the store. When I saw mistakes, my job was to correct them, and when I saw a job well done, I was to compliment them, and encourage the team to work harder and have fun while continuing to keep up production. Apprentice Contractor

Green coast Construction - The Woodlands, TX - July 2011 to January 2012 Every morning I would wake up and Drive to my bosses house and pick him up. From there we would discuss what our goals were for that day. We normally worked multiple jobs every day, (We did everything from Residential to Commercial construction.) I was to drive to and from job sites and pick up/drop off/unload materials and help on site (read plans, set form boards, lay rebar, shovel concrete and do any of the welding. As well as going on the occasional Bid with my boss and take all the measurements and sell the customer. Crew Trainer

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

When it comes to computers, there isn't much I don't know or can't comprehend. I can use Word, Excel, Access, Publisher, Networking, Auto CAD, and Chief Architect, as a kid I was always taking my electronics apart and seeing how they worked and constantly upgrading my computers. By the age of 7 I could take a computer completely apart and piece it together, as well as set up our home network and access other computers in the house through Telnet in command Prompt. As I stated before I have become quite proficient in using programs such as "Unity", "Blender", C4D, and other game engines as I'm teaching myself Graphic Design. Other skills off of the computer I have taken 3 years of Welding courses plus a certification in GMAW, 2 years of Architectural Drafting, and both came very easy to me as I have a keen eye for detail and a steady hand when working with them.
