Resume:

“With the aim to overcome myself and being successful, I am prepared to start my career from the bottom and create some prestige as a professional person taking my effort and hard work as a base.”

To whom it may concern:

My name is Luis Alejandro Castillo Torres, I am Mexican and I am 22 years old. I am writing these lines because my professional career as a Deck Officer of the Merchant Navy is about to start and I am willing to fulfill my training period on board of your vessels, or any other type of vessels, such as: tankers, containers, cruises, etc. I consider myself as a prepared person who can achieve any goal set by himself and I have received an excellent education at the Nautical School of Veracruz “Cap. Alt. Fernando Siliceo y Torres” being a top-class student, which will be very useful during my professional life.

I think it is important to learn new things every day, so my aim is to learn and keep preparing myself on board vessels by acquiring new experiences in the daily routine on board. I am a quick learner and can pick up new concepts and tasks very quickly and would like to begin my training as soon as possible. I am ready for this challenge and am prepared to work as long as it is necessary on order to fulfill my goal and contribute to the development of your enterprise. I have been studying all I can about every type of navigation, especially the celestial, because I think it is important to know the traditional way of navigation.

I believe that my skills together with my education and training at the Nautical School will make me a very competitive candidate for this position, as it can be seen in this resume and I also want to mark that I have no problem with being outside home in the long term and that I will be available from July 1st, 2017 or even a few days before if necessary.

Yours Sincerily.

Luis Alejandro Castillo Torres.
