Redesigned the stock option program, via performance-based compensation, for senior officers (Black Scholls System) and management.
Revamped and upgraded, corporate-wide, all training and management development programs. Outcome: launched an in-store Kios system, which will ultimately reduce training costs $16 million annually.
Vice President Administration / Human Resources & Risk Management (1995-1999). Responsible for all corporate Human Resource functions and policy administration.
Designed and implemented the Supplement Executive Retirement Program for officers.
Saved $18 million over a six-year period by designing a Risk Management Team that pulled together all corporate safety committees and created cost savings programs.
Achieved $3 million savings in cost containment annually by redesigning the corporate health care program from a traditional to a PPO, to a managed care and a self-insured status.
Redesigned property / casualty insurance programs to self-insured status. Negotiated new carriers resulting in improved coverage and reduced costs.
Redesigned a $120 million 401K plan. The new plan offered a wider variety of investment choices, educational services, and changed the trustee and record keeper.
Designed and implemented a new deferred compensation program for officers totaling $6 million.
