Item Data Management (IDM) is The Home Depot PIM solution used to capture, maintain and store item data. The application was heavily customized to meet THD business needs, and core functions such as the vendor portal, Quick sheets (mass maintenance on the vendor portal) and workflow are completely customized and the current version of STEP (Trailblazer) will allow us to upgrade and get rid of the majority of our custom components. This will provide multiple benefits, including: Quicker future upgrades, reduced support costs, Enhanced functionality for vendors and internal users through new portal capabilities, increased performance due to the ability to rely on native Stibo technology
