The US Patent pending for Confectionary Cooking Control Process Engineer at Georgia Nut Company December 2003 - February 2017 (13 years 3 months)

Trouble-shooting tree nut processes including oil cooking, malted-milk line molding processes design and draw the tooling for 85A Hamac- Hansella. Worked on package tooling, design and draw bag and carton dye lines on AutoCAD.

Belt Coater - Team Project, dveloped tree nut processes concept to save labor dollars. The old process involved twelve process steps on belt coaters. For the new process we were able to eliminate transferring the product to storage, instead coating, polishing, and packaging were done in three process steps. The new process reduced costs for labor, transport, holding and packaging material costs. Consultant at Furramark, Inc Close business. November 1999 - December 2003 (4 years 2 months)

Complete consulting in a confectionery industry that covers: an analytical work for process flow based on a formula, develop capital for the project, do the layout for the project, selecting the equipment for the project, but petting utility for the project, equipment installation, equipment testing and debugging, complete project documentation, staff training on process line and verifying equipment and staff are operating based on operating documentation.

Plant Engineering Manager at Candy Tech LLC Buffalo Grove June 1998 - November 1999 (1 year 6 months)

The owner of US Patent 6,164,162 Hose clamp Tool granted in Dec. 26, 2000. Director of Special Projects at Farley Candy Co September 1980 - February 1998 (17 years 6 months)

As Director of Special Projects, the largest project I worked on was five fruit roll up line design and implementation. At the time no candy equipment suppliers had yet designed roll up machines. As part of this project it was my job to conceptualize and design the roll up machine in its entirety. Due to the unique design of the roll up machine at Farley, Farley's roll up machine design by-passed General Mills patent. This was an enormous innovation and cost savings benefit to Farley.

Farley had mello cream circus peanuts, with conventional aeration it was very unstable process with a conventional valve. The conventional valve was vulnerable to minute variation, of the mass and the air flow through the valve would cause product to have inconsistent product density in the mold. Inconstancy in product mass would create unusable product and increase product cost.

Machine Mechanic at Cadbury plc. March 1978 - September 1980 (2 years 7 months)

Worked as a machine mechanic, after six months noticed we were losing 20% of packaging capacity every 8 hours. Designed and implemented “belt powered driven turn tables” to return the product to be packed again. This change increased capacity of packaging and enabled us to run the mogul for an additional 1.5 hours per day/shift.
