I am an ambitious Mechanical Engineer with multi-disciplinary academic background (Integrated Bachelor-Master degree in Mechanical Engineering, M.Sc. in Petroleum Engineering and M.Sc. in Material Science for Nuclear Energy) and current PhD student in the Department of Chemical and Biochemical Engineering of DTU. Furthermore, I have advanced experience on the control of HCl emission from cement plants, FTIR systems - IR Spectroscopy and Industrial Reaction Engineering. Additionally, I have working experience in oil refinery, nuclear and cement industries. My scientific background in conjunction with the obtained international working experience makes me flexible and easily adaptable to different industrial environments.

WORKING EXPERIENCE
10/02/2012 - 10/08/2012:
Internship in SCK CEN (Belgian Nuclear
Research Center): “Short term measurements of
steels oxidation kinetics in liquid lead-bismuth”. During this internship, I studied the oxide layer
formation of T91 stainless steel in lead –bismuth
environment. I was responsible for the
experimental activities and SEM analysis.
8/7/2013 - 31/8/2013:
Internship in Hellenic Petroleum SA at
Aspropyrgos Refinery: “Utilization of Mechanical
Equipment in Refinery Operations”. I studied the
effect of heat exchangers’ insulation on the
operational cost reduction at conversion units’
department (FCC).
5/2015-now:
DTU-FLSmidth AS: Industrial PhD project on the
control of HCl emission from cement plants. This
project is characterized by a multidisciplinary
structure, which includes the determination of
market needs and business value analysis,
selection-conduction of the experimental
activities, and HCl emission control model
development.
