Arranged round table discussions to define best practices, redefined the driver qualification process, recruited new delivery employees, established a uniform program for new recruits, delivered a safety program for handling cash receipts, and introduced a new salary and delivery commission system. USMC Logistics Officer/Major Jan 1996 – June 2004

Served as Platoon Commander, Operations Officer, and Executive Officer for a Company sized element (250 Marines) that supported the 2nd Marine Division (18,000 Marines) with logistical and transportation support. Served as an executive officer responsible for administrative matters for a company of U.S. Marines. Managed a motor vehicle organization supporting daily operations of three Regiments and Headquarters Battalion (8000 Marines). Led a training organization at Parris Island, SC for the U.S. Marine Corps. Planned 12-week training cycle, assigned officer and drill instructor responsibilities, directed daily training activities, and resolved issues. During a two-year period directed the training, safety and welfare of over 3,000 recruits transformed into trained Marines, establishing a 90% retention rate.
