Administered databases for an application of DHS (2013-14) CMS's DECC project's (2010-14) largest health care application system. Led efforts related to database architect redesign, Oracle architecture, ASM migrations, data exports, and security. Worked on Licensing strategy for Oracle Enterprise Manager and supported Data Guard Broker with standby database. Organized DBA team meetings and attended Hadoop/Vandisco meetings.

Consolidated 60 environments of Oracle databases to a uniform environment of Oracle 11gR2 database architecture.

Contributed extensively in migrating to automatic storage management using 10g and 11g, including migrating VFS file system to ZFS and ASM and migrating from a raw file system to asm file system for Oracle 11g and Oracle 10g databases.

Streamlined export dump backups in a complex environment of 15 DBAs of the project and 40 DBAs of the same application.

Implemented uniform storage policies across more than 30 actively running databases.

Designed the ASM disc configurations for 100 TBs of space and implemented ports outside default configuration using dynamic listener registration.

Resolved xml and other schema issues during data exports, in addition to presenting convincing evidence and recommendations to senior management on resolving ongoing issues.

Other projects included: installing Oracle Enterprise Manager 12c Cloud Control, converting Grid Cluster from one datacenter to another center, and redefining the PL/SQL code for dashboard development purposes.
