Part of entire plant rearrangment and layout.

Trained in and acquired a working knowledge of the new SAP [Systems, Applications and Product] introduced to Davenport Works while continuing to manage all newly designed production parts for the Proto Type units. Also maintained current inventory of parts used in established production lines. Position involved interaction with PDP buyers, Design Engineers, ME’s, MC’s, MRS’s and with other coordinators in Dubuque and Davenport Works. Projects involved in: K-Series all product lines, 944 Loader, Final Tier Four all product lines. Position was eliminated.

Assist in the management of Proto Type unit’s production by tracking and maintaining inventory control of engineered parts for new units. Established communication with engineers, buyers, and manufacturing management. Set up and maintain spreadsheets for new designed parts and reordered parts. Knowledgeable in setting up KanBan and managing the KanBan process. Able to utilize the KDW and DWONLINE programs. Responsible for creating a packaging spread sheet for PDP buyers entailing the use of formulas and information from the DWONLINE screen.
Proficient in Inventory Control. Maintain precise inventory of parts required for units scheduled for production.
Responsible for acquiring all materials needed for the Proto runs to ensure reliable inventory maintained for actual production. Retain constant interaction between buyers and John Deere to ensure prompt delivery of materials and that parts are ready for assembly of unit.
Knowledge of process to ship materials to various locations through using several screens simultaneously to move part to proper destination.
