To Whom It May Concern:
I am Caggie V. Feaster, applying for the position of Concierge/Event Support at your facility. The skills and experience I have acquired over the years, I believe, would support your staffing needs. Below is my personal information and qualifications. I have already enjoyed one successful career so my interest in applying for this position is to hopefully assist with your work while also enhancing my knowledge and skills.
I have good communication skills (some very basic knowledge of the Spanish Language) and very much enjoy working/interfacing with people from all walks of life.
I am presently unemployed but do volunteer as an Office Assistant on an as-needed basis (no contracts or commitments are attached to this) so I have no time constraints.
Thanking you in advance for considering my application. I look forward to hearing from you.
Respectfully,
Caggie V. Feaster
Summary of Work:
Until April of 2010, I had resided in San Diego, California for twenty-eight years. The last twelve of those years I worked for the Jacobs Family Foundation (The Jacobs Center for Neighborhood Innovation) a Nonprofit Foundation/Organization owned and operated by the Joe Jacobs Family. Their work, which continues to this day, is mainly centered in San Diego, California. The mission, basically, Community Development – partnering with small businesses, team leaders and residents to rebuild/redevelop and restructure their communities.
My position was Director of Conference Center and Events. I scheduled, planned and oversaw all events and functions. Some of our major clients were: Cox Cable San Diego, Kaiser and Scripps Hospitals, Schools, Colleges/ Universities, various organizations and businesses, etc. I also lead the team that designed the Culinary Training Kitchen and trained a crew in Hospitality/Customer Service. I interfaced/networked with many cultures from all walks of life, (our work was centered in a multi-cultural community which was a very rewarding experience).

I am recently retired and would appreciate the opportunity to share my learning experiences with others in related fields. I am currently available and have no other commitments. To any job, I bring/practice good communication skills. And, I believe impeccable customer service, in any field of work, is paramount, as-well-as professional business ethics and respect for company standards. I am comfortable working independently on a specific assignment or with teams/groups. I have worked in both public and private industries which have afforded me great opportunities and experiences.
