Duties and Responsibilities:
Monitors network traffic and troubleshooting.
Perform server installation and configuration.
Configure network connection to the newly installed ATM Machines.
Coordinates with communication providers regarding problems encountered in banks WAN connectivity. Ex Leased lines.
Responsible for the installation and maintenance of cables in the head office and branches.
Installation of CCTV in the Branch Banking.
Troubleshoots problems on Local Area and Wide Area Network.
Conducts periodic ocular inspection on cables installed in head office and branches for possible defects.
Responsible for the installation/testing of equipments in Head Office and branches.
Informs the IT Officer for any major problems arising to the use of the network and its resources, which needs immediate decision.
Performs the daily backup procedures and ensures that data are backed up accurately at all times; and ensures that backup media are stored in a safe place.
