Recruited as the corporate safety coordinating consultant for all of G&R Electric offices in East Texas including Austin, Dallas/Fort Worth, San Antonio and Houston, Bay City, Texas City & Galveston.

Performed total quality safety performance auditing and evaluations for all work sites in the Central and East Texas region from Dallas/Fort Worth to Galveston.

Consulted on safety for 270 workers at this site for six months without a lost time or record-able injury and then went on to continue that record on all other sites supervised for Helix Electric.

Facilitated a safety committee to help identify at-risk trends and come up with solutions that would avoid incidents. The most important part of this group was to learn safety forethought for themselves and then take that back into the field and mentor what they were learning about safety to others.

Went on to be lead safety manager for 3 more First Solar plants throughout New Mexico with a total of 12.5 megawatts and then a 10-megawatt tracker site for Helix, Signal Energy and Son Edison Solar.

Approved by Nevada OSHA as an OCIP safety manager to manage safety operations as a part of the construction management team on $5.5 and $2.8 billion projects and charged with the supervision of 55 safety professionals and 4000+ contractors on the Echelon Casino project in Las Vegas, NV and 1400 in Atlantic City, NJ. Schuff Steel Company – (June 2004 – July 2005)

A world industrial leader in steel design, engineering, management, erection and fabrication with plants nationwide.

Interacted with 125 union ironworkers on $450 million NFL stadium. Planned, audited and supervised erection of 7,500 tons of steel erection and coordinated safety for the heaviest single steel pick ever attempted on land of 5600 tons spanning 700’ by 300’ & lifted to a final resting elevation of 297 feet above the stadium floor, seen on the National Geographic Channel.

Texas Wind Power – (January 2004 – June 2004)

Now Cielo Wind one of America’s most experienced wind farm developers experienced in engineering & construction.

Supervised a 167-turbine wind farm valued at $171 million. Supervised constructing more than 100 miles of roads, rights of ways, pipelines, fiber optic lines and transmission lines, writing the lock out/tag out program for terminating and commissioning turbines in substations. Supervised installation of 60 miles of high voltage towers to hold two 390kv overhead power lines and building of two 300kv substations on this 60-square mile wind farm.
