• Senior Vice President Latin America Leader at the Global Risk Architecture/Finance Risk Infrastructure since 2010 for end-to-end implementation of new Risk Management Platform for Commercial Bank

• Responsible to provide overall governance and end-to-end project management for Business (Relationship Managers, Sponsoring Officers), Risk Management (RMCO, SCO, CO, Risk Analyst, Remedial & Early Warning Officers, Portfolio Management, Control and Regulatory Reports) and Operations (CRMS, Documentation and Collaterals) to all Latin America Region.

• Currently responsible for activities to implement Risk Management application integrated with Business Platform (CRM or Salesforce) and booking (AFS Integration) in United States across several US states and confirmed leader of Mexico implementation in 4q2017. Support my peers with the implementation of CitiRisk Commercial in Asia and EMEA including Taiwan, Hong Kong, UK and China.

• Knowledge of end-to-end CCB Lending processes & tools integrated with Risk Management application such as Lending Proposal & Origination tools (CRM, Salesforce, EDD, KYC), Credit Analysis (CAT, LGD), Independent Risk (Underwriting, Remedial, Early Warning, Credit Approval), Operations & Facility Management (Rapid, CDM, Collateral Management) and booking process.

• Develop, present and lead key project plans to Global Business and Risk senior managers, Country, Technology counterparts in Operating or Steering Committees. Organize and lead meetings with Global or LATAM Business, Risk and Technology senior managers through presentations or on-site visits.

• Promote business process mapping review to identify potential risk control and regulatory gaps over the Global Target Model. Implement Global Target Model and provide proper training to Risk, Operations and Business users.

• Work with international and oversee staff of all levels.

• Manage the LATAM book of work; define priorities; oversee business requirements.

• Responsible to Plan, execute and track User Acceptance Test, Training and Implementation of CitiRisk in Brazil and El Salvador with Business, Risk and Ops ICG and CCB communities. Summary of Qualifications

• Solid experience to provide Project Management & Governance for Global ICG & CCB Business, Risk and Operations across Institutional Clients and Commercial bank spaces for 22 Latin America countries and Mexico since 2001.

• Manage to deliver end-to-end Risk projects at global & regional levels since 2003. Strong communication experience to present plans, tracking report, risk log, comprehensive status report and mitigation plans. Ability to create project plans, manage business priorities, requirements and functional specifications; good written and verbal multi language communication in English, Spanish or Portuguese

• Global and regional (Americas/LATAM) experience to prepare and execute in-country due diligences, gap analysis, feasibility studies, scoping. Plan, Execute and Lead Training, User Acceptance and rollout plan for Global CitiRisk.

• Strong experience to work with a cohesive team despite remote or offshore staff locations. Experience in conducting project review and mentoring of lower level staff. Experience to work with multiple projects and bridges geographic/cultural boundaries. Experience in managing and tracking project budgets and perform audit reviews

• Strong ability to lead project teams; plan, implement, and control project efforts and deal effectively with multi-cultural customers, interaction with Senior Managers, Technology Head and project stakeholders for different regions.

• Knowledge of project management fundamentals: Microsoft Project, Work Breakdown Schedules (WBS), change control, problem/issue and resource management, communication, risk control and risk log, requirement management, planning and tracking.

Work Experience

Fort Lauderdale – USA (1995 - Today)

• Manage the delivery of new Risk Platform (CitiRisk Commercial) for Citi Commercial Banking for a pilot country in El Salvador and currently in Brazil and USA.

• Manage to deliver ARIS promote business process changes for Citigroup Commercial bank in Argentina and Panama.

• Implement ICG Risk Reengineering projects

• Project Manager responsible for rolling out Credit & Risk Regional and Global Risk applications into the Latin America region in 23 countries including Banamex Empresarial with a large experience to deal projects using the Citigroup SDLC for the Corporate & Commercial Banking segments.

• Strong Experience creating business requirements, functional and technical specifications, system integration and user acceptance test and training plans for Credit & Risk applications for Corporate Banking; experience to drive User Training & Support for LATIN AMERICAN Credit & Risk communities

• Responsible to define and conduct the governance model with local and offshore Project Leaders & offshore Developers across the regions

• Overall project manager assigned to implement the different Credit & Risk applications into the new bank acquired by Citigroup in 2007 present in five Central America countries.

• Responsible for the redesign one of the Credit & Risk modules during the conversion of Corporate Credit legacy system to web base application.

• Project Manager for the Latin America region for a global application with business teams in London & New York and development team in Singapore. Good experience leading conference calls and team meetings.

• Assigned by the LATAM Operations & Technology head to attend the Capability Maturity Model interviews for final assessment that brought O&T LATAM Technology into the CMM Level 2.

• Responsible for the migration of the production support team from USA to Argentina in 2003/2004.

• Special assignment in Chennai/India to meet the development team and establish a process to handle business requirements, technical specifications and standards & naming conventions during the migration of team from USA to India.

• Development of tools, procedure and guidelines to meet the CMM level 2 key all Key Process areas such as requirement management, project planning & tracking, configuration management and software quality assurance.

• Responsible for the hardware & software procurement and definition of the service level agreements with the data center and system administrators during the migration of legacy system in 2002.
