During my time on 3rd shift, the facilities operating SOP came from how I ran my crew. My members had more time to do other things such as 5s, staging and preparing containers and also didn’t exhaust themselves with extra work. We produced the best numbers from all 3 shifts because we had little wasted movement and great teamwork qualities.

Our goal is to create the ceramic filter that goes into automobile catalytic convertors and maintain a high standard of safety and quality. TL’s are tasked to create quality product, maintain 5s and maintenance protocols, scheduling and coverage, make accurate production reports/notes and constantly evaluate production safety. Also, conduct pre-shift meetings, coach and council team members, and also train and develop new team members. I am a part of my departments safety committee. Our safety committees meet and discussed all recent safety concerns. Worked with department management to discuss safety issues and financial needs to conduct corrective actions. I have also attended a Leadership Course provided by Mitchell Community College and also scored Gold on the North Carolina CRC test.
