Product Engineer utilizing Creo 3.0-Windchill 10.2 leading the CAD development of Dishwasher rack components and spray system design. Designed a variety of plastic injected parts that required complex surfacing with C1 & C2 curvature continuity and proper design for tooling. Worked closely with the model shop to create files for rapid prototype components.

Sr. Mechanical Design Engineer utilizing Creo 2.0-Intralink 10.2 leading the CAD development of a rotary diesel propulsion system. Incorporated design changes to various components of the engine based on test data to achieve the reliability and durability requirements. Created and managed large Bill of Materials to assist purchasing and manufacturing. Designed a variety of fixtures for assembly and welding utilizing Autodesk Inventor. Assisted the machine shop and trained employees utilizing Ezcam CNC programming software to create CAM programs to manufacture a variety of components.

Design Engineer and Tool Designer. Involved with product from conception to parting line development for tooling. Worked closely with industrial design engineers for driving shape of appearance surfaces. Utilized Pro/ENGINEER on a wide variety of products ranging from large plastic injected assemblies, cellular phones to vacuum cleaners.

Design Engineer and Process Manufacture Programmer. Designed a variety of automotive powertrain components, including the design and development of tooling. Used Pro/MANUFACTURE to program 3-Axis CNC cutter paths to produce parts or tooling. Set up and operated a wide variety of CNC’s. Wood Pattern Maker and ISO/QS 9000 trained. Designed molds for a number of Ford DEW front engine covers, including part design changes and full partings. Designed a number of flow boxes using digitized CMM data to create surfaces for port shape (reverse engineering). Utilized Pro/ENGINEER as well as trained employees on Pro/ENGINEER, Cadds 5, Catia, Valisys, Vericut, and Bridgeworks.
