Diploma Project : STUDY OF DIFFERENTIAL GEARBOX

Project Description :

It was a study project to help students understand about how differential gearbox works and its power transmission to the wheels.

As we had a commercial Tata Truck Chassis in our campus we cut the chassis in two half”s and worked on the differential gearbox by cutting its front portion which was attached to the propeller shaft and by making its internal gear system visible to everyone, we attached a small rotating handle replacing propeller shaft to show how rotating power of shaft is transmitted horizontally to the wheels.

Final Year Engineering Project : DESIGN AND ANALYSIS OF FLUID COUPLING

Description & Objective :

It was an Industrial Design project given us by Wissen Baum Engineering Solution. The main objective is to increase the input force capacity of the old fluid coupling up to 400 KN, which was 130 KN. To carry out this we studied the base product and its material properties and redesigned and modified considering new materials with new magnitude of forces.
