Actively built a department culture that was team-oriented and committed to the highest level of customer service and professional excellence while ensuring 24 x 7 worldwide support for the firm’s information technology and service functions, including software development, end-user applications, infrastructure, and devices. Responsible for developing, negotiating and maintaining strategic vendor relationships such as telecommunications, hardware, software and outsource providers.

Managed multi-million dollar projects with high complexity and demanding stakeholders. Examples include:

oOversaw numerous system implementations: data center technologies, data/voice networks, directory services, email, virtualization, CRM systems, web development projects, and financial application upgrades.

oImplemented numerous storage solutions to improve business continuity, increase critical system availability, and provide infrastructure for creativity departments.

oLed numerous iterations of global collaboration and communication systems from onsite solutions to consolidated cloud versions.

Developed and implemented the agency first corporate intranet. KGN (Ketchum Global Network) received the two industry awards: Top 50 Intranet Sites from CIO Magazine and a Bronze Anvil.

Implementation of a distributed mail and calendar system for 1000 users.

Provided project planning and coordination of multiple office moves each year. Directed the build out of an international ATM network that consisted of fourteen domestic and four international locations.

Tripled the department staff size over a two-year period and maintained an extraordinarily high retention level.

Coordinated all efforts of our Y2K Steering Committee.

Designed and installed the agency’s original local area networks. Established all hardware and software configuration standards and developed the corresponding system administrator’s operating procedures.
