Summary:
Back Ground and Experience: includes both Federal and Consultant work in Human Resources Career Field. My initial career began as an Army Materiel Command Intern. I have served at all levels from journeyman, mid management to manager at directorate level. I have a working knowledge and experience as recruiter/Staffing Specialist, Classification Specialist, Employee Development Specialist, Career Program Manager HQDA and Contract Administrator. My work ethics and performance throughout my career have been documented as Highly Successful to Exceptional. My background and experience also includes work in management employee relations/union negotiation, operations and management of the Military Personnel Office, Army Alcohol Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Office, drug testing, counseling and referrals to various rehabilitative departments/agencies. Additionally, I have worked closely with Installation Leaders, Managers and Supervisors in handling sensitive cases involving suicidal ideations, threats and workforce issues adversely impacting organizational performance. Also, served as Resource Development Officer/Deputy Director, Manpower and Force Development involving annual budgets development, manpower and funding allocations and distribution across organizational lines. 06-201*-**-****: Consultant, Aetos Systems Inc. Served as Consultant/Auditor for NASA/ Marshall Space Flight Center, Office of Human Capital. Duties consisted of auditing recruitment, staffing and classification files and records to assure that actions, such as appointments, promotions, reassignments and etc. were processed in accordance with governing rules, regulations, statutes and law as prescribed by Title 5, US Federal Code of Regulations, US Office of Personnel Management, NASA and Marshall Space Flight Center. I documented findings and made recommendations to management in those cases requiring corrective actions.
10-200*-**-****: Director of Human Resources, US Army Garrison, Redstone Arsenal. Engaged in day-to-day operation and management of multiple subordinate organizations; US Army Military Personnel Div. which included processing of military orders, Identification Cards/Tags, Casualty Assistance/ notification of next of kin and processing insurance benefits and entitlements, US Army Community Services Div. US Army Education Division comprised of multiple on post colleges and universities, US Army Substance Abuse Prevention and Control Office which included services such as drug testing, counseling, referrals and reports for both military and Department of Defense civilian employees.
