Purchasing duties

Deal with international/ local suppliers handle their queries, assess their needs, inquiry, prices negotiation, contract, solves problems and assist them accordingly

Well known of “SFDA& Saudi Customs rules & regulations such as shipments release Docs requirements – and food items registration procedures until gaining the approval as per sfda requirements. Shipment Pre-notification .Electronic SFDA shipment release

To ensure that procurement and supplier management activity is performed with probity and in compliance with relevant procurement regulations

To provide top level expertise, advice and support to the business on all aspects of Procurement and Supplier Management.

Oversees ongoing improvement of the subsidiary's purchasing conditions and proposes ways to improve P&L.

Implement end to end purchasing and procurement process, policy incorporating local/international suppliers.

Participates in the products and service’s needs-defining phase using my technical and market knowledge to answer questions of feasibility.

Assesses the ability of suppliers to supply products in accordance with technical criteria and according to the conditions set out in specifications.

Prepare POs & Quotations and forward to suppliers.

Follow-up delivery and coordinate with accounts department for payment.

Take care of shipment documents and follow up with until clearance

Act to procure the needed quality in supplies, services and equipment

Supervise the inspection of all supplies, services and equipment purchased to insure conformance with specifications

Establish a process of swiftly identifying new suppliers maintain approved supplier/potential supplier database, establishing supplier leads through trade fairs, chamber of commerce, and internet. Arrange for samples, testing and evaluation of new products. Collaborate with staff on new standing agreements, ensuring staff awareness of product lines of new suppliers.

CUSTOMS CLEARANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Acting as the lead concerning all interaction between the business and government customs clearance and SFDA authorities for all import and export matters

Managing internal business processes to accommodate all regulations, permits, administrative charges and paperwork

Manage, develop and recruit when needed a compliment of direct reports at relevant port authority locations to facilitate efficient and timely transactions

Evaluate and manage the panel of customs brokerage vendors including the management of insurers to maximize business leverage
