1. Durgapur Steel Plant Hospital - From 15.01.2009 to till date. I joined as Senior Medical Officer on 15th January 2009. Got promoted to the post- Specialist on 01.07.2012. Again, promoted to the post- Consultant on 01.07.2015. Now I am working as consultant pathologist in all the sections of pathology. Section wise the works I do are as follows –

a) Haematology - . Haematological tests by manual or automation. Review of slides for accurate reports ( Hb%, TC & DC of WBC). Reporting of special tests - complete haemogram, peripheral blood smear, platelets, reticulocyte count, sickling test, Malaria parasites, microfilariae etc. Reporting of bone marrow examination. Coagulation test – PT (Prothrombin Time) & INR. ESR, QUALITY CONTROL.. b) CLINICAL - Reporting of microscopic & R/E of urine, stool, semen, vaginal swab, CSF, ascitic & pleural fluid. Also supervise urine HCG, bile salt & bile pigment, OBT of stool. c) Blood Bank - supervise all works in blood bank including blood group, cross match, blood donation, Du test, Coomb's test,VDRL, ELISA test of HIV-1 and 2, HCV, HBsAg,, discard of waste & maintenance of documents needed for license of blood bank.

d) Microbiology - Supervise all serological tests including HIV 1 & 2, HCV, HBsAg, VDRL, CRP, R- Factor, Dengue IgM & IgG, Malaria Antigen, Widal Test, ASO titer. Supervise culture and sensitivity test of all types of body fluids ( Urine, Pus, CSF, Throat Swab etc). Gram stain and AFB Stain. Diagnosis of AFB sputum positive cases as per guidlines of RNTCP.

e) Histology & Cytology - Reporting of vaginal & cervical cytology. Grossing of histopathological specimens. Fine needle aspiration of breast lump, thyroid, lymph nodes, soft tissue swelling & swelling on other parts of body. Diagnosis of histopathological specimen, fine needle aspirate samples and body fluid cytology. 2. Diabetes, Thyroid & Hormone Centre, Commerce Tower, Main Road, Ranchi - - Worked as pathologist from July 2007 to December 2008. Reported mainly haematological & clinical tests for patients of diabetes and hormone diseases. Also, supervised biochemical tests and hormone assays 3. Nagarmal Modi Seva Sadan, Blood Bank division, Nagarmal Modi Path,Ranchi- Worked as Medical Officer from 22 November 2007 to December 2008. Supervised all works in blood bank. Attended blood donation camps.

Attended The ISHBT-EHA- ESH ” Tutorial on Lymphoid Malignancies” organized by TATA Medical Centre, Kolkata. India on 26.09.2014 to 28.09.2014.

5. . Attended training program on Tuberculosis Care under DOTS strategy jointly by RNTCP & IMA held at S.D. Hospital, Durgapur on 05.03.2012.

PRESENTATIONS & AWARD

1. Presented a PG Poster on “Microfilariae in bone marrow aspirate smear – A very rare finding in a case of anaemia” in All India Steel Medical Officer’s Conference held at Durgapur on 12th - 14th February 2016. I was awarded with 2nd prize for this presentation. 2. I presented a paper on “Executive Health Check Up – A New Initiative” in Durgapur Steel Plant Hospital on 31 May, 2014.

3. Presented oral paper on “Gynaecological cytology trends in RIMS” in CYTOCON- 2006 held at Rajendra Institute Of Medical Sciences, Ranchi on 5th November 2006. Declaration:
