Job description/Accountabilities/Role and Responsibilities-

Preparing fund-wise upload file updating daily transactions.

Uploading and reconciling the daily cash in system.

Maintaining a track of discrepancy/fail cash transactions for daily, weekly and monthly.

Reviewing Daily cash file for all funds.

Perform primary investigation on the cash/position breaks.

Identify the cause and assign the cash/position break to correct team for further investigation & resolution.

Mutual fund reconciliation, present and future gap analysis through R & D, reserved correction.

Prepare daily cash, position and market value reconciliations and work with various brokers to research and resolve discrepancies where present.

Daily cash and position reconciliation between fund and broker.

Processing all the relevant Cash Movement (Transfers / Subscriptions / Redemptions/ Withdrawal /Expenses).

Reviewing of accounting records like Client portfolio position & cash, Custodian & bank statement.

Reconcile the cash and Securities held by client & that with company (acting as custodian). Finding out the exact Break amount causing the difference.

If any shortfall (difference) occurs we need to investigate with the help of SWIFT and CMS -CDS in order to avoid the financial loss that may occur to the client company.

Advising client the steps to rectify the query (break/difference), providing client with the resolution.

Preparing cash report using GSP which reflects the details of holding held by client & company.

Resolving the onshore quires related to the positions (Breaks) of Custodian Through investigation. Also to advise them the corrective action to clear the Difference (Breaks) and to follow till the difference is cleared. To process the entries for clearance of outstanding balances.

Completing Weekly & Monthly Reports within the accepted TAT as per the SLA.

Tracking of various product classes like - Futures, Options, Swaps and other structured products.

Verifying cash and income vouchers and posing them to clients’ accounts.

Using different recon application like TLM, fund site, GSP, GSP Facts, Vision, Advisiory etc.

Reconciliation on clients account between client account with custody and clients database provided by client and maintaining client’s data base as per client instructions.
