Senior Manager – Finance and Supply Chain IT 2012 – 2017

Managed a team of 8-9 employees plus 2 contractors supporting server infrastructure, database, and middleware administration: Project management for multiple new infrastructure and middleware builds, technology refreshes, re-platforms, consolidations and production operational support for up to 25 enterprise applications across 4 data centers. Project management and coordination: collaboration with IT/business teams to gather requirements, architect, build, deliver and support enterprise infrastructure solutions that supported Finance and Supply Chain business. Analyzed and managed operational performance requirements over the life cycle of enterprise finance applications and projects.

Managed a team of 8 to 10 employees/contractors including…

3 Oracle DBA’s supporting 7 applications and DBAAS platform.

2 SQL DBA’s supporting 5 applications and DBAAS platform.

2 person Oracle and IBM middleware team supporting 2 applications.

1 Windows IIS/server admin; primary support for two applications and Citrix framework support for 12 applications.

Managed Projects - AWS migrations:

Led on-premise to AWS cloud migrations for 8 non-prod enterprise applications.

Evaluated and recommended direction for DB migrations: RDS vs. EC2.

Created/provided cost-benefit analysis and feedback regarding migration of production landscapes from on premise data centers to AWS VPC.
