Financial control and reporting for 8 locations in Ohio, Kentucky, Pennsylvania and West Virginia and for IT operations for this division. Enhanced profitability by strengthening controls and improved budgeting, analysis and reporting.

Hyster MidEast division sold – Financial reporting consolidated to new owner’s corporate offices.

Robus Leather Corporation is the only manufacturer of bonded leather in the USA. The company’s products are used in a variety of markets including footwear, fashion, furniture, upholstery, wall coverings and the general leather goods industries. Sales are approximately 60% to domestic markets and 40% to international manufacturing companies located worldwide including China, Mexico, India, Taiwan and the Philippines. Total Sales, Marketing, Operations and P&L Responsibility reporting directly to Corporation Owner.

Vice President and Division Controller 1997 – July 2000 - Faultless Caster Division FKI Industries

The Caster Division of FKI is a $150m operating entity that includes Faultless Caster in Evansville, IN and Rhombus Caster Germany and Rhombus Caster Malaysia. Part of the Material Handling Group of FKI.

Complete responsibility for financial reporting, policy and analysis for all manufacturing, and sales distribution operations and for MIS for division.

Improved bottom line profitability (PBIT as percent of sales) by 7% since 1997. One of the strongest profit performers in group.

Initiated ERP/Supply Chain Management System investigation, selection, acquisition and implementation.

Treasurer 1992 – 1997 Yale International Inc., Charlotte, NC

$500m group of manufacturing companies in the Material Handling Industry and Sugar manufacturing, processing and distribution (packaged product delivered direct to grocery stores and bulk consumers).

Complete responsibility for Treasury (including banking relations) and Human Resource Administration.

Reversed American Lifts operating loss trends from-$1.4m in 1991 to +$2.1m in 1994; reduced staff, strengthened cost accounting and price controls.

Assumed regional controller responsibility for two Duff-Norton divisions; orchestrated turnarounds from minimal profits to approximately 15% annually; 3 divisions were top % income producers of Yale’s 7 divisions.

Served during Chapter 11 reorganization in 1993; stock traded at $8 per share, sold company in 1996 with stock at $24 per share.
